Water Accessibility

Water is recognized as essential for human survival, but the provision of a good safe water supply is often non existent. Our goal is to see how drinking water, washing water and garden water can all adequately supplied to disadvantaged peoples in areas where these are generally available to other people. The possibilities for providing water are followed by the issues of water quality. Methods of non toxic purification are researched and recommended. Because water may be scarce, conservation is needed. Methods of conservation are evaluated for greatest suitability. In many situations there will need to be plans for a water delivery system. This may include a consideration of wells, irrigation systems, canals, reservoirs, and even manual or vehicular hauling of water. Water storage may also be necessary, and different methods need to be evaluated.
